From the point of view of sociology and cultural and communicative processes, this theme is part of the line of studies and research linked to digital literacy and digital education and calls into question all those cultural, relational, and social variables that directly or indirectly intervene in the context educational, orienting and defining the mechanism of transmission and educational relationship around technology. The central focus in this reasoning does not concern technology in its forms of technical and infrastructural enhancement but rather the processes of “domestication” of technology in the daily practices of educators or students to achieve educational objectives. So, attention is focused on the methodologies of using technologies, on the dynamics of personalization for inclusion, communicative and expressive quality, social relations, etc. The proposed special issue intends to focus on theoretical and empirical studies and research at different levels of analysis.
